2012 Scheduling Information
PLEASE READ!

Pre-season practices will be pre-scheduled before games begin and posted on this BLOG via the practice schedule spreadsheet. Once games begin, all practices are scheduled via the practice scheduling form on the BLOG on a first come first serve basis. Additional practices either during the preseason or the regular season may be requested but only on the scheduling BLOG FORM. Only 1 requested practice per team at a time.

Any practice requested within one day of the practice date cannot be guaranteed a response. 24 Hours is the expected turn around once practices are requested. Once practice times are assigned and confirmed, an email will be sent from schedules.omybs@gmail.com to confirm your requested practice time. It will also be posted on the practice schedule worksheet.

All fields are open for requested practices on Sunday, noting that Sunday practice is optional for players. Rained out practices do not have makeup's. If your practice is rained out, you must request a new date and time on the BLOG SCHEDULE FORM. Do not request a new practice time until the practice time has expired whether it is rained out or not. Remember, only one practice request may be active at one time.  You may only request practice fields that correspond with designated fields for your age group.

Practice requests will be accepted via BLOG SCHEDULE FORM ONLY no email or phone calls.

Fields at Indian Springs Baptist Church are #1 on the left, #2 on the right, and #3 in the back behind field #1. Do NOT use Church facilities. Clean up trash when practice is complete.

The Instructional League will practice once per week.

Each coach MUST clean up after each practice, TRASH, FIELD TOOLS, etc..
Last coach of the day is responsible for turning off the lights and ensuring equipment is put up and locked.

Anyone looking to change a scheduled PRE-SEASON practice, can initiate a swap with someone in their age group. Each coach involved with the swap should submit a request the Blog Schedule Form. The swap will not be acted on by the scheduler until both coaches have submitted a request. BLOG SCHEDULE FORM.

As discussed in the Coaches Meeting. DO NOT assume a field is available if there isn't anyone assigned to a particular field on the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is updated regularly as new practice times are posted. The scheduling spreadsheet posted on the BLOG is the CURRENT status of every field.

Please instruct your player parents that the Scheduler is not the sounding board for comments. Direct them to contact their head coach, or AGD with comments. They are welcome to look at the BLOG and the practice schedule. They will need to know the team number to find the scheduled time for your team.

Practices at Oak Mountain Intermediate School fields 1 and 2 (OMI1 & OMI2) cannot begin before 5:30 pm on school days.

The last team to practice on a lighted field must be certain to turn out the lights at the end of practice.

Starting Saturday, March 17th (Spring Break) practices will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis. There will be no scheduled practices. 2 practice time can be scheduled per team.

Practices during Spring Break MUST BE REQUESTED NO LATER THAN MARCH 10th via the BLOG SCHEDULE FORM of the website. The Scheduling Rule for waiting to request a practice during spring break is waived. 2 practice times can be requested for this week only.
